starplane association
Under the name "Starplane" an association exists, which aims at the promotion of General Aviation, in particular by the non-commercial execution of sightseeing flights for association members.
Aim and purpose of the association
The underlying idea of the club is that the sightseeing flights are carried out by private pilots. According to the fact that a private pilot is not allowed to perform commercial flights, the members of the club have to pay only the cost price of the aircraft including the costs of the landing tax.
With the purchase of a sightseeing flight, the passengers listed on the ticket become members of the association in the form of a Starplane Patron, which entails no obligations and automatically expires after 12 months. For each passenger listed, CHF 50 of the fare paid is considered a membership fee.
